Each illustration began with a conversation. I met with the author to talk through the meaning of each poem, what emotions they wanted to preserve, and how they hoped readers would connect with it. From there, I pulled out key words, themes, and feelings, exploring visual ideas through quick thumbnails before refining each piece. The goal was to let every illustration feel like a small story- bringing the poem to life through metaphor, detail, and hand-drawn linework, while hiding fragments of the poem within the imagery itself.
Illustrations created for an unreleased poetry collection. Text has been intentionally obscured.

Hey, I’m Pavitra ❀
A 3D & Interactive Designer based in Austin, TX (happy to relocate).I found my way to interactive design through animation and 3D design, taking a few scenic routes before landing where I was meant to be. Everything I make comes from a love for creating experiences and moments that stay with people. I bring a lot of curiosity and experimentation into my work, shaped by years of leading collaborative teams and navigating creative challenges. When I’m not working, I’m teaching kids art, learning dance choreo from YouTube, cooking something experimental, or deep into a comfort show!
